February Fun

So this month proved to be quite exciting. With the continuing awesomeness of the Utah State Basketball team then games never seem to keep me down. I feel so special that my team is on the top 25 and has the longest winning streak in the nation. I go to every single game possible and even switched a ticket with a friend for a play that I have to go to for a class to make it to one of the games. When they appear on the television you can guarantee that I will be there watching it. I just hope that we can continue these on till the end of the season. March Maddness here I come.

I have also had the oportunity to get closer to a group of girls on my floor. The first weekend was a girls choice institute dance, we all asked guys and went as a giant group it was so much fun. It was also nice to go to a Utah dance it's been a long while since I've been to one of those. I took a kid that I knew I would have a lot of fun with from my ward. We had a good time and played some cool games afterward.

The rest of that weekend I hung out with my new group of friends and we built an awesome fort in our common room. We felt like little kids so we watched some little rascles in their. We used a christmas tree as a center piece and then designed the rest like a circus tent. Believe it or not it was quite roomy in there and we were able to fit a good number of people with no problems. Though it got a bit warm we still enjoyed it.

Later that day we went on an adventure through logan. It was like 55 degrees so we walked all over town like tourist. We were originally looking for a park but ended up just walking around. It still was way fun. Plus it was a wonderful day. That night we slept in our fort (at least till 3 when it got too hot). We had a little sleep over and talked till like 1:30 in tho morning.

School is going pretty good still. I seem to be doing ok in all my classes. I just have to keep on top of things. I beilive that once I make it through till spring break I'll be home free.
ok so I had some problems formating this but whatever!

Holidays

It was so nice to be able to go home for the winter break plus the Texas weather didn't hurt either. My family and I were able to play all sorts of games and watch many movies. Abbie, my sister, came out for a few days. It was nice to be able to hang out with her and her little pug. The opportunity to see some of my friends over the break as well. I decided that I might as well do something at the beginning of the break so I went down a too steep hill on my friends long board. Well I went a little too fast for comfort and tried to abandon ship and fell, but I was OK. Just some scraps on my arms and a sore bottom. Also a fun excursion to the galleria for some serious ice skating. I forgot how much I love to ice skate. However it would have been nicer if it wasn't so busy but hey what can ya do the week before Christmas your going to find some people at the mall. We spent Christmas eve in Abilene with Abbie and Tatton. We had fun playing games and going to this incredible Chinese place. Christmas day was fine Cameron had work so we opened gifts, ate pancakes, and then he left for work. However the day was still quite fun. We got a lot of awesome gifts. Even though the missionaries came over later the day was not lost. We played games and enjoyed each others company. As for presents I got my big gift my lap top in advanced. With an awesome quilt Abbie made me, a movie, a bed sheet, and a sweater my Christmas was small but meaningful. It was just nice to be home. The next preceding days consisted of movies, games, and Wii. One of the biggest highlights was the music video we made the day before I left for Utah. You can see it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ5UD8N191w we are pretty silly. It was quite the switch coming back to school. Pretty much freezing and snowy. But it will spring soon enough. I'm still not sure about some of my classes but after this semester it's no more generals so hooray!

Homecoming

So this week is homecoming week. It has been so much fun going to a lot of the events and being able to hang out with my friends. I'm looking forward to going to the game and being able to paing my face crazy! Its going to be awsome! On monday though my friends and I decided to go to one of the kick off activities which included a paint dance. We had so much fun dancing and getting filthy with paint. People were just throwing it and getting it on you it is great. Except one boy had a handful of paint and asked me if I wanted some I said I did and he imediatly put it all in my eye with it open and everything. I couldn't see for like two minutes but I blinked out the paint and decided I was fine. However it did make my face look awfly authentic as Richard said. Hopefully the good times will continue to roll!

Yellowstone

As it would seem the fall just keeps on progressing. For fall break I went up to yellowstone with a bunch of my friends. It was very nice to get out and see the sites and be involved in such a pretty place.I was able to make it to Old Faithful, Canyons, a bit of Madison guyser basin, and we drove around yellowstone lake. We camped in the campground by Lewis lake by the south entrance on SNOW! Yes we set up our tents on snow. But honestly no matter how cold it was we still had such an awsome time. On our way up we stopped at Bear lake to take pics and then at Jackson hole to look around and also drove through the tetons. They are so pretty all snowed over and beautiful. It was wonderful to be able to get to know some kids better and really be able to hang with some of my closer friends. I hope that I can have another fun adventure soon.

Start of Fall

So it seems odd that Fall is so short in Utah. I feel like such a loser with so many coats and scarves when it is only the middle of October. It shouldn't be snowing!! But even with the snow I am still doing well in classes. I am getting over whatever illness I had and so now I am just concentrating on my classes. Right now it seems like its not all that hard. I read and study a bit I think the key is to keep organized. As long as you know when papers are due you can schedule your time pretty effectively.
I have been having lots of fun with a bunch of my friends. We had a Juno party just recently and we all looked really fantastic pregnant. I really like being around them. I'm super excited for our Yellowstone trip coming up this weekend it should be pretty awesome, as long as we don't freeze our buts off I mean.
I am really enjoying school. I'm so glad that I choose usu. I expect even greater things coming up.
